I was fiddling around in Photoshop 7 (woot! old skool!
 ) about a week ago, and to my delight discovered this lovely little gem. I had always wanted to make comics with pretty-ful tones, but alas, I cannot stick them onto my screen! I hadn't seen any tutorials on this in my travels, so I figured I'd share the love. Part I is quite basic, and as you can see the image at the end merely strains one's eyes when you look at it.  But this is more or less just to help you get a grasp of the technique, which you will find isn't that difficult! Part 2: [link] So, that's it for now! Part III will be using these tones for colouring. |
